Jojoba oil is wonderful for the skin because it has absorption properties that are similar to the natural oil our skin produces and leaves the skin soft, supple and smooth. It is technically a liquid wax produced from the seed of the Jojoba simmondsia chinensis shrub.

I also add arnica oil, an herb, that is used externally to relieve aches and pains associated with bruises, sprains, swelling and inflammation. You should never apply Arnica oil to broken skin or open wounds as it increases the blood supply to that area, and will cause more external bleeding. Also, do not apply near eyes or mouth.
