Tooth a Matic shims kit
Some of you have expressed the desire to modify the tooth cut length for the Tooth a Matic. I have put together an assortment of shims for you to adjust the trimming height to your particular needs. Before shipping we calibrate the Tooth a Matic tooth cut length to be .450". This gives you a "safe" cut. In initial discussions over our design of The Tooth a Matic with our vet, we decided it was safer to leave the teeth just a little high versus a little low.YOU however, have the option to trim the teeth to any length with a simple addition or subtraction of shims.In our original assembly of the Tooth a Matic, we add approx..125" worth of shims under the grinding wheel. If you would like the tool to cut the teeth shorter, just add a shim under the grinding wheel. OR, make a combination of shims that YOU think makes the perfect cut!The shim kit includes the following 1).125",2).020" 2).032" 2).047" 2).062".
