Additional Details

Boarding animals are included in the Alpacas of the Ark herd. We provide sales opportunities for our boarded animals for a 15% commission; will assist in locating and transporting to outside studs; provide on-site high quality stud males if desired; and arrange for annual shearing on the farm (at the owner's expense).

Our farm has the convenience of the University of Wisconsin Veterinary School located in Madison, Wisconsin (1 1/2 hours away) for referral of difficult medical or reproductive problems. Our central U.S. location makes transportation both east and west of the Mississippi convenient. We regularly attend a number of alpaca shows and auctions and are glad to assist our boarding clients in transporting their animals to shows or sales.
