Boarding
We have 22.5 secure acres, with about eight acres of it fenced for livestock. For shelter, we have 3 alpaca barns; a 40' by 64' barn, and a 20' by 30' building and a 10 by 12' shed. We use the 5' high no-climb fencing. Our animals ar fed twice daily and have free choice hay. We do herd health management monthly, which includes weighing, toenail trimming, body scoring and shots as needed. We currrently board about 12 alpacas from four different clients. Our clients visit their animals as often as they like. We work with new breeders in learning how to halter train their alpacas. We offer transportation to shows for boarders without trailers want to show. Often boarders save money by sharing stalls with our alapcas at shows. Potential boarders are invited to visit and participate on herd health day,get "Hands on " experiences trimming toenails, weighing and giving shots.Please call us for the next herd health date (517)787-6955 or 517-331-2410, We provide coffee and donuts. |
