Boarding/Agisting
Do you want to own alpacas but do not have the land or space? We will board your alpacas in our new pastures and alpaca barn with it's new 30 x 50 addition. All boarders will receive the same loving attention that Hummingbird Ranch alpacas receive daily. We understand your investment and it's value and our promise is to treat your investment as we do our own. We practice Camalidynamics in handling our herd which makes for happy, trusting barn/pasture buddies.
We will provide routine health and vet checks, worming, CDT & nail trimming in our standard agisting contract. All animals are pasture grazed in late spring, summer & early fall and free choice quality hay are provided the remainder of the year. Mazuri Alpaca Crumbles or Growth and Repro formulas (determined by alpacas need)and free choice minerals are fed daily. Cria are provided a free choice cria creep to insure their nutritional requirments are met.

| | Pricing and Terms
Our single animal rate is $3.00 per day however, each alpaca and owner have different needs, please call us to discuss the rate that will fit your requirments. We offer multiple alpaca and owner participation discounts. Owners are responsible for Vet fees other than worming, nail trimming & annual CDT. Our Vet is Dr. Doug Neal, a vet with alpaca experience and knowledge.
Shearing and any other service and/or needs required by the alpaca are the owners financial responsibility. | |

Additional Details
All pastures provide shelter and dung piles are vacuumed daily to protect against fly and parasite infestation. The alpacas health and saftey is our #1 concern so our ranch perimeter is completely fenced with 5 foot electric (top & bottom) fencing and our Pyr's, Katie and King, watch over and protect 24/7.
For the protection of all animals; new arrivals to Hummingbird Ranch will require a health certificate and must test BVD free. Hmmingbird Ranch has tested BVD free.
