Breeding Service
Both Ron and Denise attend herd managagement, breeding and birthing seminars to keep up with the latest alpaca husbandry practices and advice. You can be assured that we will take the best possible care of your female and cria at side when they are at our farm. We also are blessed with one of the best camelid vets in the region.
Our breeding contract includes confirmation by ultrasound or progesterone. We grow our own hay. We fully test our soil and hay and adjust fertilizer based on the alpacas requirements. We feed based on our forage tests and random blood panels we have done on our herd. We use one Dr. Evans blend for our boys and one for the girls and crias. We also offer specific alpaca minerals free choice and Dr. Evans Fiber Nutrients top dressed.
Please contact us to discuss our BVDV protocol for incoming dams and crias at side. We have tested free of BVDV via the PCR test and SN test. We do also have seperate quarantine facilities. |
