Birthing Services
This is a great service for a number of reasons. 1st, delivering a cria can be a little scary especially for new breeders. Having someone help you birth out your first cria can be comforting. We will do our best to contact owners to let them know that the cria is on its way. This can give experience and build confidence so that you feel better about home deliveries. 2nd, if you are either tired of being on baby watch, or have things come up, we can take on that burden for you and free up your schedule. Lastly, if something comes up and you are not going to be around to watch even if you wanted to we can do the job so that you don't have to put that burden on an inexperienced farm sitter.
Call if you have any questions about our service. I have had training in the delivery of both easy and difficult deliveries. I am not a veterinarian and am simply offering to act as an extension of you, to help you with watching and with delivery if you are not able to be there. |

$200 per alpaca for alpacas who deliver without assistance
$300 for guided, complicated or difficult deliveries.
With this service agisting rates are only $2.00 per day. | |

Additional Details
It is recommended that girls arrived at least a month before delivery.
All animals must have full mortality and theft insurance. If the owner fails to aquire such insurance and hence act as their own self-insured, they shall be deemed to have waived any claim against Little Blessings. Little Blessings will require a signed waiver and release of liability from the owner of any alpaca that we work with. Although we will love and care for your animals as though they are our own, things in life happen that we can not control. Lastly, during the time that your alpaca is in the custody of Little Blessings we will have absolute discretion to engage services of a veterinarian to attend to any immediate medical needs at the owners expense. | | |
