Boarding and agistment
Daily board includes tested hay/pasture, Norm Evans formulated feed, Fiber Nutrients, minerals, water, routine nail trimming, routine individual fecal floats, and extra TLC. A nominal fee is charged for other services, medications, dewormers and vaccines. Manure is removed from pastures and stalls twice daily. For your alpacas welfare as well as ours, we require all agisted animals to be insured and tested BVDV PCR negative. We do isolate new arrivals and use a biosecurity plan for returning show animals to help to minimize health risks. Here at Celestine Ridge Alpacas, we are commited to the individual needs of each alpaca. We encourage drive by breedings to minimize stress on your females and reduce the risk of spreading of pathogens. We feed in small groups and rotate pastures as needed. Owned and operated by a Veterinarian and Veterinary Technician! Please call for availability, we will not overcrowd the alpacas under our full time care! |

Boarders and visitors are encouraged to participate in herd health days, shearing, mini-seminars, breedings, and vet visits.
We use heated water buckets when appropriate in the Winter. We have a low number of alpacas to each 36-42" fans. We also provide ice in their water buckets and do hose down the alpacas as needed in the Summer. References are available. | | |
