Boarding & Agisting
Many people interested in alpaca ownership do not have the land or facilities to provide daily care for them. Oak Haven Farm can help by providing a home away from home for your alpacas.
A beautiful barn with plenty of space and Orchardgrass-mix pastures is what your alpacas have to enjoy at Oak Haven Farm. We currently have vacancies available for your boarding and agistment needs. Because of our small herd size, we can give your alpacas individual attention and the same high standard of care we provide our own animals. We also have a local experienced Veterinarian available with University camelid health experts available a few hours away. An internship program is avilable where you can work along with us to learn about the daily care of your alpacas.

Pricing and Terms Our Boarding/Agistment rate is $3.00 per day, which covers the cost of actual expenses such as grain, hay, and mineral supplements as well as health maintenance such as record keeping, vaccines as needed, and other daily care. The owner is responsible for their animals' veterinary bills, breeding, insurance, shearing, and extensive cria/birthing costs.
Receive a 10% discount for Boarding services paid 6 months in advance. Additional discounts when you purchase from Oak Haven Farm |

Additional Details All animals must be insured and BVDV and disease free.
Animals will be quarantined for 30 days after arriving and then will be allowed to acclimate with the herd. I ask that all animals entering my farm are wormed when they arrive or within a week prior to arrival to keep my pastures clean.
If a female has a cria at her side, there will be no charge until it is six months and/or weaned and starts eating more.
Discounts are available on multiple animals being boarded.
Halter training and showing are optional additions.
