Professional shearing by Jamie Jones, a shearer trained by Mark Loffhagen! I am the contact person to arrange shearing in the Spring. Show fleeces are done with the same care at no extra charge. Make your reservations early! Please call or e-mail for information. The schedule is set in October for the following April. Now taking contact information and reservations for 2010 shearing.The list will fill quickly- if this service is of any interest, contact us as soon as posssible. North Carolina, South Carolina and North Georgia- run starts after the Palmetto Classic. Florida-Texas run starts in March. Make shearing fun! Low stress for the alpacas and their human caretakers. | | | | Pricing and Terms | | Approximately $30/ animal, or less depending on location, and total # of animals per stop. This includes expenses. There is a minimum of 20 animals to make a stop. We try to combine farms with fewer animals than the minimum. Llamas sheared using same method and pricing as alpacas. | |
