Fleece Skirting for Show Class (And for processing)
Prepare Fleece for Show, Spin Off, Cottage Fleece and Processing.
Next Classes - Winter 2014. The class is fun and interactive. I am also available to teach offsite classes or seminars - call to arrange.
This is a one day hands on class. Skirting is the process of removing unwanted fiber and debris from raw fleece, as well as, preparing it for show, sale or processing. You learn to recognize and remove unwanted coarse and inconsistent fiber, shorts & 2nd cuts. You learn to package the fleece for show, as well as, prepare a spin-off sample. Handouts from the AOBA Show Division Handbook are provided and we review the AOBA Fleece and Spin-Off score cards, as well as, the new Cottage Fleece show rules. |
