Wet Felting Class to make Alpaca Purse
Learn 3D Wet Felting and Sculpt a Purse with Alpaca.
Next classes to be scheduled in the summer 2010.
Each participant will leave with a finished purse, still wet. After a few days of drying, it will be ready to decorate.
The class is taught as a group. Each participant will felt their own purse while watching and following along with the instructor. Participants will learn basic 3D wet felting techniques that can be applied to making hats, moccasins or other items, as well as the purse.
The class is fun, interactive and social.

Class size limited to 6 persons.
Structured Class length - about 2 1/2 hours.
Cost - $45 per person.
Supplies and Fiber will be provided. (Decorations and Beads in pictures not included in the class)

Additional Details
This class is Hands On! Prepare to get somewhat wet and dirty, as wet felting is performed with hot soapy water with unwashed fleece. Class is taught outside or in the barn if weather is inclement.

Instructor's Experience: Over the last eight years I have learned to spin, weave, felt and knit with alpaca. Wet felting was self taught from a Martha Stewart article. I will share the knowledge with you in this class.
