Camp Weenawei
Get it? Camp Wean-away. Small farms often run into a dilemma. Not enough pastures to wean your crias and not enough time to train them. You can solve this problem by sending your babies to camp! Each cria will be watched carefully and be with a midsize herd so he or she will feel safe. After giving them some time to settle in, they will be gently halter trained (no tying them to a tire, EVER) and taught to lead and accept general handling. |
Pricing and Terms Regular boarding fees include halter and lead training. Additional training extra(such as for obstacles, etc) for a small hourly fee. |
Additional Details Crias must be at least 6 months old and at least 60 pounds. This service is not available June through September, as I feel that weaning and the change of scenery is too much in addition to our Texas heat. | | |
