Custom Alpaca Shelters
You don't need a pricey barn to raise alpacas. Alpacas that have protection from wind and rain/ice/snow are happy--and the more airy and open their space the better.
Check out page 37 in the December 2008 issue of Camelid Quarterly where our custom designed mini-barn is featured in a story about winter preparation.
This shelter gives them good visibility and the sense of openness that camelids prefer. They also get plenty of shade and protection from the elements.
If you had land cleared to create pasture we can use your own logs to build your mini-barn. We'll bring our portable sawmill to you and process the materials you need to build right onsite. Big-box store lumber can't be compared to the quality of what comes from your own land.
We'll customize your alpacas' shelter to your farm's needs and layout. Housing your alpacas is easier--and less exensive--than you think.
