Hands-On Training Program
You are invited to spend a day or two working along with us in the daily care of our alpacas. We have found that hands-on training is the best way to learn. And, it will boost your confidence in being able to care of your alpacas once they are at your farm. Activities vary but may include:
• Pasture Rotation
• Pasture Care
• Worming/Vaccinations
• Halter Training
• Weighing
• Toe Nail Trimming
• Feeding
• Fencing maintenance and repairs
• General Farm Upkeep
• Data Management
• Cleaning up poop piles
