Brokering
Buying and selling alpacas is exciting for all parties involved. If you need help, seek assistance from an experienced broker, but research those available first. I help sellers by marketing their alpacas through email ads, websites such Alpacanation and Open Herd, magazine ads, events on our farm, and shows. I provide as much pertinent information on each alpaca for potential buyers and assist with contracts, transfers of ownership, transportation arrangements, and other arrangements as needed.
Broker Tip: Consider customer service when buying your alpacas. Customer service means everything when your first alpaca baby is being born or you have a sick alpaca. How close is the farm where your purchased your alpaca? Do they provide 24/7 customer service? Can they come to your farm to help you or do you have to get help over the phone? Establish connections with alpaca farms near you just in case having assistance when needed is there. |
