Alpaca and Weaving Weekend for Adults
Our Alpaca and Nature Day Camp has been so popular that many adults have requested an adult version of the camp. The adult camp is on two weekends. You can sign up for one weekend or both. This is the second of the two weekends, where the focus will be on learning about the alpacas and weaving with their fiber. You need not own alpacas to benefit from this camp. Campers will learn the basics of raising alpacas, and the basics of weaving their fiber. The camp has a variety of looms for the campers to experience. This is a hands on camp. Campers will learn to halter and walk the alpacas. More advanced students will learn more advanced skills. For those that have attended the previous weekend, they will continue learning about caring for these gentle animals.

Additional Details
Classes will be in our barn, pasture and fiber cottage. The weekend will be tailored to the attendees.
Catherine has a degree in textiles from Eastern Illinois University. She has be a textile designer for over 30 years. She enjoys teaching about alpacas and their fiber. Catherine and her husband have been involved with alpacas since 2003.
