Preparing You and Your Alpacas for Show!
Saturday, April 4, 2009 (1PM - 4PM)
This seminar is perfect for individuals who will be attending their first halter show or are
in need of brushing up on their handling techniques!
In this seminar you will learn/receive:
· A Respectful Approach to Handling and Training Your Alpacas
· How to Prepare Yourself and Your Alpaca for Show
· The Secrets to Successful Showing for You and Your Alpaca
· Caring for Your Show Alpacas Before, During and After the Show
· A Checklist of Show Items
It is an honor, bestowed upon us many times, to show alpacas owned by other farms.
Having an understanding of the alpaca and using a gentle approach (and many times to
the owners’ surprise!), these once “unruly” alpacas are quite mannerly in the show ring
and have even placed in the ribbons (1st Place and Reserve Color Champion!!)
