INTERN-TO-LEARN
If you've been looking for a way to get intensive, one-on-one, hands- on training with alpacas that will provide you with solid information and real education on operating a full-time alpaca farm and business, this is it. Launched spring of 2008, this ten week program has a college-level syllabus and provides students with academic credit. Non-college students are welcome & will be provided a Certificate of Achievement upon completion of the program.
The only program of its kind, Intern-to-Learn provides each participant with extensive, practical experience, a well-rounded curriculum of studies and a comprehensive written exam to assess what you've learned. Not only that, it's a lot of fun!

Additional Details As a participant in the program you will be a housing guest of Close- Knit Alpacas and all meals, room and board will be provided you free of any additional charges. All costs cover teaching and education. One full scholarship awarded each year to a local resident of Steuben County, New York, and half-price for approved High School seniors. | | |
