Cameron Mountain Somerset   

Medium Silver Grey, 1130690, 3/8 Chilean, 5/8 Peruvian

This beautiful rare grey Black Nac daughter is the granddaughter of the famous rose grey, Nic Nac, whose sire is 4Peruvian Black Magic. Her blanket is virtually spot-free. She has been as healthy as any we've had, and over 115 pounds by a year old.

Somerset earned a blue ribbon at the VAOBA Expo in Nov. 06. Judge Jane Tellier started her reasoning by commenting on her cute face then praised her consistent coloring and crimp, her solid bone and excellent conformation and head.

At the Carolina Celebration in February Somerset was awarded a 4th place ribbon in a competitive class of light and medium grey juveniles including daughters of some of the best-known grey studs on the east coast.

Her dam is a Mapaca juvenile blue ribbon winner in the rose grey class. Somerset has the same dramatic face markings of her mother with the additional touch of a cute "chin strap."

Man of Ledgend has the beautiful Rose Grey coloring that is much desired in the alpaca world. He is full fleeced with nice crimp, helmet, and leg coverage. His fleece is fine, incredibly SOFT with GREAT staple length!

His Sire, Grey Ledgend, is the son to Bolivian Legacy at Alpacas of America. Legacy offsprings are known for their friendly personalities and Man of Ledgend is certainly no exception. He has a sweet personality and carries himself well. He has placed well at shows and his fleece has received multiple Blue ribbons and a Reserve Color Champion as well.

Flicka was obviously rose grey from the first minute we saw her. No doubt at all that this girl was grey! Shearing didn't change her color at all. Her dam, Somerset, has been the perfect mom and they had both figured out the nursing thing within minutes. Consequently the test came back excellent for IgG levels and she is growing quickly.
She is straight as can be with excellent proportions and bone. She's gorgeous and destined for the show ring.
