| | | Gloriously soft full-Chilean. Perfect confirmation. She weighs in at around 130lb and has a lovely temperment. She maintains an ideal body score through her pregancy and nursing, and that's amazing considering how incredibly well she bags up! I was very proud to see her become fully attentive mother the moment her baby dropped. Video of the birth available if you find it hard to believe such a small girl can so easily birth a 14 pound cria! Osage Liberty Bella (Libby) was born July 1st and is also listed. | |

Libby is a clown, and will be dearly missed for her entertaining mischief. If you want a girl with personality, here you go! Libby is a slight girl like her mother, and I don't like to offer those girls for sale until I know they birth easily. Libby birthed very easily her first go around, and came into plenty of milk. She's being bred to Sunset Hills Andean's Gold Rush in October for a Sept/Oct 2009 cria. If she's anything like her mom, Tatiana, you'll have a very reliable producer on your hands. She only has a decent micron, but for a young brown girl not too bad. We think that breeding her to Rush will really push that micron down and allow for a very great handle, since both Libby and Rush have such terrific SD & CV values. Very unfortunately, her first cria was killed the day he was born, through no fault of Libby's... she was very attentive to him. What I can tell you is that the cria had very, very good looking light fawn fiber; at least we know she can be a good foundation girl that allows for the male to improve on her, just like her mother does. At any rate, this is why I consider her proven. Note that she also bred pretty young for her size... she was begging for boys when she was merely 10 months old, by the time she was 16 months old, I said "fine!!! if you'll quit getting the boys all worked up every other week, I'll take the risk of breeding you young!"
She's finally well into proper breeding age and is ready... Spring 2009. Which sire will it be?
