SA Thistle   

Medium Fawn, 20015961, 1/2 Chilean, 1/2 Peruvian

Thistle is one of our first born on our farm. She is a large boned girl with straight confirmation and an excellent bite, as well as very dense, crimpy fiber. Her coverage is excellent from her impressive topknot down to her feet. She also carries a very impressive staple length. Thistle's sire is a color champion and she comes from the impressive Guellermo and PPeruvian Pisco Sour line and has been bred to our Full Peruvian herdsire Sequoia Skye. Thistle leads well and jumps right into a minivan when we move her.

The reason Thistle is being offered at this super low price is because we let her get heavy and her milk supply has been short, requiring some bottle feeding of her crias. She breeds and delivers easily, having large healthy babies. Thistle has been on a diet and is at a much lower weight than her last pregnancy. I hear there is also a medication to induce milk production which we may try if she remains here.

This boy has an excellent confirmation, even proportions and straight legs. His outstanding temperament brings attention to all these details. His fleece is a dense dark brown, very crimpy and has a nice handle that spinners would love. He
is quite a gentleman but we must move him at this low price to prepare ourselves for the next round of crias.
