Zeus's Aglaia

White, 839258, 1/8 Bolivian, 7/8 Peruvian

Aglaia is a well conformed girl with a lustrous, dense, & extremely soft fleece. She is one of our most easygoing alpacas. Aglaia is 3/4 Accoyo, 7/8 Peruvian and is currently being rebred to our Full Peruvian Champion Stud, Navajo Gold. She had another lovely female this past summer -- this time light fawn! It was an easy decision to rebreed her back to Navajo.

Aglaia has proven herself to be an easy breeder and an excellent mother producing strong energetic colored cria. Most notably Bouldermont Veyron, who is the spitting image of his sire Buggati.

Veyron has a steller show record with a Reserve Champion and multiple first place showings.

Aglaia is one of our most gentle and sweet natured girls in our herd and she produces mild mannered offspring. If you are looking for a gentle foundation girl that can produce show quality offspring that will increase the value of your herd, then Aglaia is the girl for you.

  WRSR Peruvian Navajo Gold
    Light Fawn, 841378, Full Peruvian

Navajo Gold was named for his golden top knot and threads of golden locks found throughout his high luster fleece. He is the son of Peruvian Baccarat (Accoyo), a grandson of Accoyo Bruxo, and is following his full brother's footsteps, WRSR Accoyo Razor, in winning championships. His dam is DDF Mulan, a 1/2 Accoyo beige high luster producer out of Accoyo Bruxo.

With a background of champion Accoyo bloodlines, we expect his progeny to do well in breeding programs and the show ring. Navajo's fleece is incredibly fine with a very soft, slick handle. AOBA Judge Jude Anderson described the cool, slickness of his fleece, "Your hand runs through his fleece like butter. An exceptionally fine fleece with a beautiful soft hand." His tightly beaded locks drape uniformly from his body, and hide a treasure of dark brown areas in his fleece. Navajo's disposition is is curious, friendly, easy-going, and he is a sheer pleasure to be around.
