The great breeding of this full Peruvian herdsire (Elar on his sire's side and Aureo on his dam's) shows through. In the show ring, judges commented on his magnificent presence and luster you could see from across the ring. Lots of luster and lock formation with excellent conformation – that’s Peach Boy’s crias too! In addition to his crias listed below under progeny (RFSS Peaches, RFSS I'm A Peach [sold for $49,500, 2003 AOBA National Auction], RFSS Peach Melba, RFSS Catalyst, RFSS Peach Truffles, and RFSS Peruvian Hershey), Peach Boy's award-winning offspring have also included Suri del Sol, First Place, Southern Select 2003, and Third Place, 2003 AOBA National Alpaca Show; RFSS Peach Perfection, First, 2005 MaPaca Jubilee; RFSS Peach Princess, Third, 2005 MaPaca Jubilee (in the same class with Perfection); Grayson, Fourth Rose Gray, 2004 AOBA National Alpaca Show; and RFSS Peruvian Bellagio, First, Southern Select 2007.

Hershey may truly be better than even his nationally-known sire, Peach Boy. Hershey, through Peach Boy, is a half-brother to many other suri notables, such as RFSS I’m A Peach (second highest selling suri in the 2003 AOBA National Alpaca Auction at $49,500), RFSS Peach Melba (multiple ribbon winner and Champion), and RFSS Peach Perfection (blue ribbon winner at the 2005 MaPaca Jubilee at just eight months of age, sold for $40,000). Through his dam, USA Godiva, Hershey is a half-brother to black Godiva’s Peruvian Royal Chocolatier (“Choco”), who sired many outstanding dark suri crias for us and our customers. Through both his sire and dam, Hershey is a full brother to black multiple blue ribbon-winner and Champion, RFSS Peach Truffles (see separate listing). In the four shows in which he was entered, in front of four different judges, Hershey took three Firsts (including at the world’s then largest alpaca show, the 2005 MaPaca Jubilee, at just seven months of age) and two Championships (including beating an Accoyo AOBA Champion). Hershey turned two years of age in September, 2006, was put to work in November, and settled his girls with just one breeding each. Hershey's crias are exceptional (including a black female!) -- just like Hershey and Truffles, with excellent conformation, tight locks, and loads of luster. Hershey is co-owned with Sharon and Raymond Bogenschutz, Georgian Oaks Farm, Powder Springs, Georgia. Breeding fee: $2,500.
