Kachina is a beautiful female exhibiting outstanding luster, beautiful locks and a strong conformation for a complete package. She has a playful personality and is a joy to have around.

7/20/10 Update: Kachina delived a gorgeous 19.15 lb boy ... welcome Enrico's Santo. Santo has beautiful fiber with lots of luster and locks!

Kachina just gave birth to her first cria on 6/23/09...and what a cutie! He weighs 19.2 lbs and is healthy & full of energy.

Kachina has been bred to Escalante's Enrico for a June 2010 cria.

Welcome Enrico! We are very excited to add this awesome suri to our breeding program. Enrico is a gorgeous dark brown with a velvety black muzzle and ears; dark skin and toes. His fiber is dense, has great luster and that slick handle that feels like velvet; and his conformation correct and strong. Enrico also has a gentle temperment making him a joy to work with!

Enrico placed second in two level five shows at just seven months of age so not only does he come from impressive bloodlines including MacGyver, Bruxo, Rameses and Aureo; he has the same great qualities that have made them famous. Enrico's sire is Escalante'; winner of the 2006 GWAS Get of Sire and his dam is Chanterelle's Chantilly whose fleece won first place at the 2002 AOBA National Conference.

Enrico's show career to date has been very successful with 4-1st place and 2-2nd place ribbons. The judges have commented on his proud fluid motion when he enters the showring, strong straight conformation,

Santo has such lusterous fiber that he just shimmers when out chasing with the others! His fiber has very nicely defined locks with a long staple, nice density....and did I mention the luster!

Santo's sire is our Escalante's Enrico with bloodlines that include Macgyver, Bruxo and Rameses. His dam Kachina is a Snowmass Gold Silk daugther with bloodlines consisting of Snowmass Silken Gold, 4Peruvian White Knight and PPervian Inca. Great bloodlines and fiber characteristics on both sides!
