Butterfly is an unusual eye catching black and white female Pinto Suri. The black spots on her back look like wings, and she has black skin underneath. Butterfly produces black offspring when bred to blacks. She is an excellent producer. She was bred to Shasta Springs champion black herdsire Sergio and delivered a beautiful true black female in 2002. Butterfly produced a second female cria "Santee" in 2003. Santee is a beautiful dark brown with very fine pencil locks. Butterfly's third cria was an awesome pinto male in 2004. Butterfly was bred to Ameripaca's Jackpot and delivered a fawn female cria in 2005 with incredible luster and gorgeous locks-- A Blue Ribbon Winner! Her cria, Carmella is a blue ribbon winner at PAOBA. Butterfly is bred to our very own Orvis, a dark brown blue ribbon winner! This girl is an easy breeder. Orvis is a beautiful Medium Brown Herdsire. He is passing his locks and luster on to his cria. When bred to fawn he produced a rose grey with the same great locks and luster he carries. We are definitely pleased with Orvis!
