A beautiful, lustrous Peruvian Suri alpaca. Penelope just gave birth (02/15/04) to a beautiful little girl, Windrider's Tess, out of Peruvian Denali. She'll be bred to Peruvian Macgyver later this spring for another superb cria due spring 2005.

Denali has everything that we demand in a herdsire for our colored suri breeding program. He is a rich dark brown with extreme pencil locks. His luster and coverage are magnificent over flawless conformation. Full Peruvian, 1/4 Accoyo and he is a 3rd generation documented suri, both on his sire and dam side. As far as we are concerned this super stud is as full-packaged as they come.

Denali won Reserve Grand Champion in Denver, CO this past Spring. We are especially honored by this because he was awarded this position by AOBA and International judge, Maggie Krieger.

This beautiful little girl exhibits everything a suri breeder could ask for. Extreme luster, consistent pencil locks and fineness. Tess's conformation is excellent and she has boundless energy. She has black toenails, black skin inside her ears and around her eyes. The right side of the maroon "T" on her rump is now a solid light silver grey. She'll be bred late spring/early summer 2005 to our stunning up and coming cowboy, Sierra Bonita's Peruvian Phoenix, a fawn Macgyver son with a gray face and gray fleece from the back of his head down his neck. Not only will this cross of Bruxo and Uribe genetics produce a winner, the color of Tess's cria will be something worth waiting for. Watch for her in the show ring in 2005.
