| | | This gorgeous, leggy full-Peruvian, half-accoyo medium fawn darling looks really showy. She has an amazing luster to her curly crimpy fiber. She is out of a grey dam and is a Nic Nac graddaughter and Black Magic great granddaughter. She seems to have gotten the best of all worlds. She has Black Magic's unique luster and Accoyo Express's soft dense crimpy fiber. Her fiber must be seen to be believed! Carousel has placed first and second in her first 2 shows (before and after the same Magical Farms animal), and just got her first color championship this fall in a large class! She will be bred full accoyo late this fall. That cria will be fantastic!
Update: During shearing this year, 2006, Mark L was shearing Carousel and stopped the shearing operations to comment on the beauty of her fleece, and to insist we save it for show. So we did!
Carousel sheared 9 pounds in April of 2006, and we left leg coverage on her.
Update: On October 8, Carousel delivered a dar

Medium Fawn, 851791, Full Peruvian

| | | Archimedes is a rare cross of ACCOYO CAMILIO and an ACCOYO CALIGULA daughter. He will be a solid cornerstone for the development of our herd, giving us a top quality herdsire to offer for breedbacks now that we are selling. His medium fawn fleece has beautiful character and amazing brightness with the density and staple length of his maternal grandsire, Caligula. He has a classic Camilio head with well-developed topknot and dark eyes. His black palate and toe nails are a good indication that he can throw color!
Archimedes had his show circuit debut at the 2004 Empire Extravaganza Alpaca Show and received the BLUE RIBBON in the composite class. The judge commented on his straight lines, great conformation, and the fact that his fleece shows excellent crimp, character, and density. Just walking around before and after his event, Archimedes generated a lot of interest and enthusiam - there's a new boy in town!
Archimedes took the RESERVE COLOR CHAMPION banner at the 2005

This little female is as cute as she can possibly be. Her dark eyes are accentuated with black, so it looks like she's into make-up already. She has lots of black fibers on her face, so she will pass dark color easily. She is 3/4 Accoyo, and one of the first babies of Accoyo Archimedes. She has everything going for her. Her mother, an Express daughter, was shown only 3 times, and recieved 2 Blues, and a red (behind a Magical Farms animal which she later beat at a different show)and got a Color Champion! Carousel's fleece has been shown 2 times also, and both times received a blue.
So this little female has a lot offer, and will make a fine foundation animal for new and established breeders alike.
We will be posting more fleece shots as she gets a little older. Her fleece promises to have lots of bundles and high frequency crimp. But what else would you expect when she has Camilio, Caligula, and Express for grandparents?
Sienna's price includes her first breeding, to any of our unrelated herdsires.
