Peruvian   

Indigo was the blackest alpaca in the 5th importation. When she arrived with the rest of the herd from Peru, you could see, no doubt about it she was TRUE BLACK. Over the years, she has produced exceptional offspring - mostly black even when bred to white. Her last cria, Benito is pictured at right. Benito is 1/2 Accoyo. That's right, black bred to white, produced 1/2 Accoyo black.
