| | | Charm is EXACTLY what you look for in a quality production dam--her first cria has been proclaimed as the densest, and about the best overall, on the ground out of Don Reinaldo. She just didn't improve herself, she produced a winner, right out of the gate.
And her temperament could not be any better. The first two words you would use to describe Charm are CONFIDENT and PATIENT. She is so easy going that after she was shorn last spring she wandered around the shearing area--watching these strangers with loud clippers, sniffing the fleeces and equipment, checking on the others waiting to go.
She's a nice girl with a durable frame and a uniform, dense fleece. Farm visitors are drawn by her curious and pleasant personality. Charm's strong build and engaging temperament make her an excellent production dam and great starter animal for a new breeder.
Her 2007 cria is awesome--a very soft and super dense medium brown male with | |

Light Silver Grey, 847523, Full Chilean

|
| | | At 15 months of age, Don Reinaldo had entered 7 shows, won 7 Blue Ribbons (2 Color Championships, 2 Reserve Championships) and had 7 Breedings reserved. No doubt, Don Reinaldo is the Light Silver Gray Herdsire of the Future. Son of the renowned Crescent Moon Rayo del Sol and grandson of Don Reinaldo had the necessary credentials as well as other obvious attributes the moment he was born.
His magnificent coverage of Light Silver Gray, superfine, excessively dense, incredibly crimpy fiber was all there from the beginning, as were his perfect conformation, proportion and very solid bone structure. That sensational face just completed the picture.
Don Reinaldo's dam is ASF's Ryna, a Bay Black female from El R Mr. John Henry and Ubina's Rudolph Valentino.

Nicknamed "DeRaj", Gerardo is the most impressive alpaca born on our farm in 2007. He has a very dense, rich brown fleece with excellent crimp throughout and lots of shine. His conformation is square and flawless. Oh, and did we mention his density? You've got to feel it to appreciate it!
DeRaj carries the genetics of Peruvian Inca and 7X blue ribbon winner Don Reinaldo, which include Crescent Moon Rayo del Sol, Patagonia’s Danko, El R Mr. John Henry and Ubina's Rudolph Valentino.
We have decided to phase DeRaj out of our breeding program, as he is consistently producing white offspring (not the colored variety we expect from a brown herdsire with grey and black genetics). He is priced as a non-breeder, but can be purchased as a herdsire for just $1000. His 2011 daughter Peaches is phenomenal!.
