Grand River Reya   

Dark Silver Grey, 843184, 1/2 Chilean, 1/2 Peruvian

Reya is a very pretty girl with the much sought after Dark Grey color. She has a white face with black around her eyes that makes her look like she has on eye liner. She has excellent conformation and big bones. Her fleece is very fine and dense with very tiny crimp. She is a beautiful foundation female for producing Grey. Her sire came from Canada so she has good unrelated genes to most US herdsires. Her first offspring born in 2005 is a very good future Herdsire candidate who has won a Blue Ribbon and a 3rd place in two shows so far in 2006. His name is Ficus and he is Medium Silver Grey with very soft,dense,crimpy fleece. Her 06 cria Pollen also a Reserve Dark 06 Herdsire of the year Dark Shaddow son is spectacular. He will be a show winner in 2007!!!

ELwood's first three crias have hit the ground and they are beautiful. A Dark Fawn/Light Brown Female from a Grey dam. A True Black Female from a True Black dam and a True Black Male from another True Black dam. Elwood is a beautiful 1/2 Accoyo Herdsire. He has extremely soft, dense fleece with a very fine handle. He has very full coverage from head to toes and text book conformation. He has a very majestic presence about him with a beautiful head. He has very high frequency tight crimp that is very uniform throughout his body. He is an Excellent total package. His sire is the magnificent full Accoyo Jedi Accoyo of the USA who is one of the great PPeruvian Caligula's finest sons. His dam is True Black from a long line of True Black so he carries good True Black genes. Fawntana is a real beauty. She is a big sturdy girl with excellent bone structure. Her conformation is excellent and she is just covered in beautiful soft fleece from head to toes. She is very dense with very long staple length. Her fleece is fine with a soft handle with a great high frequency high amplitude crimp style. Fawntana is 1/4 Accoyo with the famous Caligula as her great Grandsire. She is the first offspring of Fleecy Dale Elwood and she is a beauty. Her dam Reya has given me Ficus and Green Star Pollen both multi ribbon winners and both have sold. She births easily and has plenty of milk for her crias. Fawntana is very close to being a Rose Grey color and could end up that way. She comes with full reproductive guarantee and a complimentary breeding to any Green Star Herdsire. I am a BVD free farm and Fawntana has been tested negative for BVD. Fawntana could well produce outstanding black or gray if breed that way. She is wanting to be breed now (late November 09). I have exposed her to my Champion Black Herdsire Jetfire which should produce an excellent cria. Jetfire's cria have been exceptional and very consistent in reproducing his traits. One cria (Firethorn) took a Blue Ribbon and another (Lavender) a Red at the IAA Heartland Classic.
