Alpaca Kingdom: Two Brothers - Gentle, Handsome, & Soft

Check out this super value priced package on two brothers who'll bring you two different ends of the color spectrum but similar personalities. Alpaca Kingdom Duplicate Coin - Duke - is a very gentle, mellow fellow who is now ready to breed. Correct in every way, and bringing 4Peruvian Legacy genetics from his Snowmass Gold Coin sire, Duke is primed and ready to go. Medium fawn like his sire, Duke is a little duplicate. Since we own his sire, Duke needs a new home.
Half brother Alpaca Kingdom Midnight Cavalier is a true black who celebrated his first birthday on May 5. Silky soft black fiber lay under his 'brown' exterior, and now he has brown points only around his armpits. Midnight's fiber has high frequency crimp and is very fine. He lacks the density at this point we'd like to see in a future herdsire for our program, although one never knows with males at this young age and a first fleece.
Midnight was a bottle baby after the death of his dam, but he's not attached to humans. He much prefers his brothers, even though he appreciates hand feeding as much as the next guy! Conformationally correct in every way, Midnight has not been shown, so that path is up to you. Obstacle, fiber competition? We think he'd be great for a family getting started with alpacas who want a paca to work with, or a fiber artist who wants to harvest some lovely young black rovings and yarn.
