Jamaica is truly an elite production female, on the basis of both her genetics and her production record. She is the daughter of NWA,LTD Jean, who is the daughter of Peruvian Don Julio and PPeruvian Lizbeth. Jean is also the dam of MFI Peruvian Jericho, one of the hottest herdsires in the country. Jamaica's sire is PPPeruvian Augusto, who is legendary among alpaca breeders. Jamaica was Color Champion at MAPACA and Reserve Champion at AOBA. She also won first place in the AOBA Fleece Show and the International Fleece Show. Magical Farms thought so much of Jamaica that they bred her to her own sire, Augusto--that's how much confidence they had in her genes. Since then she has been bred to several of Magical's greatest herdsires, including Running Late, a Titan son we now co-own with them. That breeding produced Juxtaposition, who was a multiple color champion, and who sold for $60000 in the 2007 Breeders Choice auction. Jamaica's rebreeding to Running Late produced Kingston, who seem

We'd like to thank Magical Farms for allowing us to partner with them on this outstanding fawn male. I remember seeing his fleece at the IAO, and again at the Futurity, in 2003. He was Color Champion in both of those shows. He has a very fine, highly crimped and bundled fleece that has similar characteristics to Marco Polo's, our white fleece king. I personally examined all eight of his offspring in June 2006 and was impressed with the consistency of fineness and crimp that Running Late is throwing. His sire Titan is one of the most highly regarded herdsires in the country, and his dam Mona consistently records a very low CV and fineness. Alongside Crescent Moon's Romeo, Running Late now gives us a first-rate breeding program in fawn, separate from our white line. We look forward to seeing what he puts on the offspring of some of our champion fawn females. Running Late will be at Hummingherd August through November. Running Late's breedings are restricted. He is not available for d

KINGSTON IS BEING HONORED AT THE 2013 AOBA NATIONAL CONFERENCE for:
EPDs: 1st or 2nd overall in Spin Fineness, AFD and %>30 in the entire registry.

Kingston is the first cria born to us from MFI Peruvian Jamaica, whom we bought at the 2006 Breeder's Choice auction for $75,000. Kingston has silky soft fiber with excellent density and long staple length. His color and crimp style are consistent across the blanket. Apparently the judges agreed when they awarded his fleece first place in the AOBA Fleece Show. Kingston's development lagged a little, but he's now mature. His full brother Juxtaposition sold for $60,000 at the 2007 Breeders Choice auction, and his full brother Jamaica's Marley had a skin biopsy that ranked in the top 2% of all males ever tested. Kingston's micron counts have been in the 14.7-16.3 range for all five years, and now he's ready to go.
