Snowflake's Champagne Lady
Light Fawn, 809076, Full Chilean
Snowflake's Champagne Lady, aka "Champagne," is owned by Lisa Penhaven and offered here for sale by Close-Knit. Lisa is motivated to sell as she returned from working overseas in Iraq and has decided to narrow her breeding program a bit.
Champagne is ideal for anyone new to alpacas. She is a proven, reliable, light fawn beauty with good bone structure and an abundance of health and vitality. She catches her pregnancies easily and births without incident.
Champagne's a wonderful mother and always has more than enough milk for her offspring. Speaking of offspring, four out of five of Champagne's crias have been female, and all have been robustly healthy, thriving crias of color (1 Dark Brown, 2 Light Fawns, a white, and a Black and White "pinto.").
Champagne is offered at this price with a 1/2 price breedback for an '09 cria to any wholly owned CKA herdsire of your choice.
Champagne's YARN is one of the most popular on the farm. It is an absolutely
The perfect phenotype male and it is evident in the show ring. A consistent ribbon winner, Lucas finished second in an extremely competitive white class of fifteen at the Empire Extravaganza 2003. Mike Safely was amazed at the combination of softness, density and staple formation in his fleece. He finished third in a large class at MAPACA 2003, won a blue ribbon at AOBA 2003, finished with a second place ribbon and a first place Bred and Owned Yearling Male at the New England Costal Classic 2003. Lucas also won second place yearling male bred and owned at Empire 2003.
Lucas Gold is now at home breeding and we have several "Gold" crias on the ground. Our first Lucas cria old enough to enter the show-ring in the spring took a blue ribbon in a competitive white class. The rest have followed in her footsteps, consistently ribboning in level five shows, most of them in competitive white classes. The 2006 crias seem to have moved to the next level in fleece unbelievably so,wit
CHECK THIS DAM AND HER UNIQUE BLOODLINES OUT! Golden Tokay is presently owned by a non-profit known as The Kiva Connection (www.kivaconnection.org) and she's offered exclusively by agent Wren Owens via The Secret Meadow of Close-Knit Alpacas. This means she's available at an unspeakable price as part of a group Collection in the very special place for "discreet herd dispersal offerings for quality buyers"...The Secret Meadow. There is no other place like The Secret Meadow on earth (certainly not within the alpaca industry!). First, about Tokay...
This pure white maiden is about as sweet as they come, and she's a very pretty girl, too.
Tokay's price is surprisingly low for qualified buyers who enter The Secret Meadow, especially considering her quality & breeding. Regardless, the closer Tokay gets to her due date, the higher her value will go, as she's THAT special (and so will her cria be!).
Tokay is also a part of little cluster packages within The Secret Meadow (groups of two or more), so if purchasing all 12 of the Kiva Connection alpacas is not something you can or want to do right now, you've got an opportunity to get just two or a few!
Tokay's bloodlines are exceptional, with 4Peruvian Altiplano Gold as her grandsire and her own sire, Chase Tavern Lucas Gold being nothing to sneeze at!
Tokay has matured beautifully and is ready to begin her life as a mother and production dam. Due to the economic situation over the last couple of years, she was held open, until now...She was bred for a Fall 2011 cria, and has been consistently spitting off (non-receptive & indicating she's pregnant)...so far it's looking like the 23rd of Oct. 2011 she will deliver a beautiful cria!
Tokay's fiber is bright white, with lovely luster and uniform crimp along a decent staple length. She just looks like a show princess!
