| | | Carmita is from the '98 Peruvian importation where each and every alpaca was scrutinized before being allowed to enter the U.S. We wanted only the best entering into our national herd, and Carmita was chosen. It's not difficult to see why.
Carmita is very straight and correct with gorgeous dark fleece and a sweet face. Her fiber is still quite dense and crimpy and the quality of her genetics shows through her offspring. Right now, the cria at her side has some of the most incredible, crimpy bundling, bright fleece we've ever seen. It's just amazing - nothing but corkscrew curls consistently from topknot to toes.
Carmita is an excellent producer and has produced beautiful cria. She has just been bred to Scotty, our Full Peruvian true black reserve color champion for a late summer 2007 cria. | |
