Although Wolf Den is recognized nationally for "its" black and dark colored breeding program, we are extremely proud of this white boy who is a tremendous compliment to our 14 year breeding program. No wonder! His grandfather is Accoyo Auzengate, who was the number one selection in the 1995 Peruvian import of 550 alpacas.
White Cloud's sire is our true black Nova son and his dam is Accoyo Persephone, one of Wolf Den's quality foundation dams. It is a rare event indeed when a black sire breeds with white and produces such a phenomenal "white". To see him is to love him and to touch and experience his fleece is a true pleasure. We look forward to showing him this fall.
As a yearling, White Cloud demonstrates his strong Accoyo genetics and the true-to-type phenotype that we seek at Wolf Den in our breeding program. He is showing solid correct conformation with added strength in his frame. In addition to his strong physical attributes and proven lineage, he has the markings of a champion.
His fleece has developed into a defined crimp character that extends uniformily throughout his blanket and carries a soft hand. Density and brightness are equally distributed and he has extensive coverage from his topknot to his toes. With a perfect bite, stunning head and proud stance, this boy has incredible potential!!!!
