We are very excited to have Snowmass Rembrant as our flagship herdsire. He was purchased specifically because his mature fleece has remained fine, consistent with our passion and high standards for producing Supreme Fleece.
His fleece character is lustrous and has a high frequency, medium amplitude crimp, and it is very dense. His conformation is perfect and his presence is outstanding (much better than this picture!).
He has produced about 60% female cria. He produced cria that are darker than their mothers 50% of the time. He has been bred to white females 6 times, and only one cria was white. The cria was lighter than the mother only 2 times out of 14.
