Harley's Angel Babe

Beige, 1199314, Full Peruvian

Harley’s Angel Babe was our first cria. She was named Angel because we were feeling blessed that our first was a female. Harley is a play on words with origins in Jim’s passion for his motorcycle. Babe was added because ARI said Harley’s Angel wasn’t available. Shortly after she was born, she and her mother, Pink Champagne, made the trip up from Alpaca Ventures in PA.

Angel had a brief career in the show ring at the 2007 North American in West Springfield. She was very well behaved but came away without any fancy ribbons. However, she is a marvelous young lady with great conformation, nice color and a dense fleece. She was successfully bred, first try, in September, 2007. She is strong, friendly and a perfect foundation for a growing herd.

Angel was bred this past September to North East Coolidge, ARI 1022490, a majestic white with incredible fleece. His lineage is crowded with names such as Bueno, Caligula, Wellington, Hemingway and Augusto. He is owned by the

  North East Coolidge
    White, 1022490, Full Peruvian

North East Coolidge exemplifies the same phenotypic qualities that made his late grandfather, Peruvian Caligula the most famous herdsire in North America. His impressive lineage includes Maple Brook Angelo, Peruvian Caligula, Peruvian Wellington, Peruvian Hemingway, Peruvian Augusto, Peruvian Bueno, and Peruvian Felix. From the moment of his birth, North East Coolidge was destined to become, like his ancestors, an extraordinary alpaca.

Nash is a walking tribute to his sire, Northeast Coolidge at Tall Grass farm, who is monumental. Nash's fleece is soft, bright, dense and very long. He loves to have his back scratched and will always come up to greet us. After loading is latest fiber stats, I'm amazed that we'er offering him at this price. However, our boys' barn is full and we need space. We have two white herdsires, Nash and Quasar. We don't need them both. As we were told early in this business, alpacas are not collectibles.... It will break our hearts to see this sweet guy leave the farm. He will be a welcome addition to anyone's herd.
