This is not your typical black suri! Diamond's Black Sapphire exhibits beautiful shimmering locks with incredible fineness, 18.7 as a 1 1/2 year old. Sapphire also exhibits wonderful luster. The judge at the AOBA fleece show commented on her fabulous black color, good lock, great luster and excellent handle. The fleece shown at nationals was from her second shearing. Sapphire has passed her fine colored fleece on to all her crias. She has been an excellent mother with crias born at a good size and growing quickly. Added to all this, she is one of the clowns of the field. She enjoys playing with the crias and will come over to see what you are doing. She is always easy to work with and handle.

Sapphire’s sire, Black Diamond, is a deep rich black color with incredible fineness, luster and lock. Her dam Sandy is a gorgeous medium brown suri with excellent luster, conformation and bone structure.

Sapphire's first cria was a solid black male with great density, fineness and luster out of a solid light brown herd sire. Her second cria was Wild Flower, a black female out of the medium fawn herd sire. Her third was a medium rose grey out of a fawn sire.

Sapphire is very much undervalued for her rich black fiber and incredible fineness. She has produced some wonderful crias and has many more in her future for your herd. Grab her up before we change our mind and keep her.
