True Black, 823644, Full Peruvian
|
|
| | | Sired by CPeruvian Silvio, Circe has what it takes for your breeding program. True black with grey genes in her back ground anything is possible. Circe has great bone conformation and excellent fleece character and she hands that down to her offspring. Her son Bear took First Place at the OABA Alpacafest 2004 for his fleece, Color Champion in 2005 at OABA Alpacafest, Midnight Man owned by The AlpacaRose and DayStar Alpaca is making his mark in the show rings with numerous 1st place and Reserve Championships under his belt. We have bred Circe back to Grey Wing from Silver Birch Farms and she is due in Oct 2007. She throws what color you breed her to and in her past she has had 2 true blacks and 2 greys. Her grey boy, Tucker will be sold with her. | |

Benchmark's Peruvian Bam Bam

Dark Silver Grey, 838293, Full Peruvian

|
| | | "Outstanding" best describes him. Bam Bam most definitely is the complete package. For starters, he is the son of Peruvian Eponine - a jet balck dam who placed 2nd at the National AOBA show and his sire, Peruvian Nic Nac who was the Reserved Grand Champion at Nationals. Bam Bam himself has won several blues including AOBA Nationals!
We would like to concentrate our Bam Bam breedings to dams of black, brown and grey colors. Bam Bam has had over 75% success rate at producing grey or black from these colored dams. His black and grey cria are exhibiting fineness and crimp found rarely in these colors. His cria heads are quite nice along with their solid conformation and extensive coverage. Many of Bam's cria not only inherit his physical attributes but also his calm demeanor.
With the intent of promoting Bam Bam in his new Southwestern Ohio home, we are offering an affordable breeding price to target a very unique area in this herdsire marketplace. For a limited tim | |

Our Peruvian Thunder Rose is a light silver grey with medium rose grey in his blanket-sometimes he has a pink tint. Although he was never shown, his pedigree is impressive. Benchmark's Peruvian Bam Bam is his sire and he is a grandson of Nic Nac and Cperuvian Silvio. Thunder has very nice full coverage and nice crimp to his fiber.
He settled his first female one week after his second birthday. On July 2, 2008 Thunder's first cria arrived at Oak Hollow Alpacas- a white GIRL named Payton Rose!! Thunder had a total of 2 girls and 1 boy for 2008. In addition to Payton Rose, he has a medium fawn son with grey legs and a white face (WBCA Donovan) and he has a fawn colored daughter at Blumoon Valley Alpacas.
UPDATE !! Thunder's last cria of 2009 has just arrived and she is LIGHT ROSE GREY !!! This brings Thunder's total to 5 girls and 2 boys (and his last 2 cria have been rose grey girls ) !!!
UPDATE !!! On May 17, 2010 Thunder added 2 more daughters bringing his total to 7 girls, 2 boys !!
On July 2, 2010 Thunder's new son, WBCA Maksim arrived. Maks is a gorgeous rose grey !!
On Sept. 4, 2010 Thunder had another daughter (8 girls, 3 boys so far). Jezebel is true black, with a white face and silver grey throughout her fiber.
In 2011, 3 boys and another rose grey girl !! To see Thunder's new crias, look at Gracie, Jumpin' Jack, Augustus and Riley.
