Bandana is the first silver grey Nishio female to be sold by Alpacas de la Patagonia.
On October 5, 2007, Bandana presented us with MOON DANCER a beautiful, true black female sired by multiple Color Champion, Patagonia's Lennox. Bandana's first birthing experience was uneventful and she slipped into motherhood beautifully, nurturing Moon Dancer as soon as she arrived. Bandana produced plenty of milk as was evident by the pleasing daily weight gains of her daughter whose IgG was a healthy 2215.
In September 2008, Bandana gave us another GIRL! This beautiful girl, MICHAELA is sired by our multiple Color Champion, third generation grey, NAVIGATOR, who is really putting out the grey and black cria! PH Navigator's Michaela is dark silver grey and we have found no spots on her blanket. She is full of energy and keeps her two contemporaries very active.
Bandana has taken several ribbons herself, including at The All American Fut

87% of ALL of his registered offspring are GREY or BLACK when bred to any color!
We would be interested to know if there is another sire who can match Navigator's color production statistics based on ARI records.
Navigator first caught our eye, and of many other breeders, at the 2002 All American Alpaca Futurity. This third generation gray and grandson of Macusani has outstanding conformation, full coverage throughout, a wonderful presence and disposition and
Navigator has done it again and her dam, Bandana, certainly added to make for a truely winning combination! Once again, we will boast about Navigator's color production statistics.
Michaela is a silver grey with no spots on her beautiful blanket. She, like her half-brother, Commodore, has soft rolling skin which contributes to the density of her already lovely fleece.
At the tender age of 7 months, Michaela won her first Blue Ribbon! Later that year, at just over a year old, she earned her first Championship Banner!
