Nordica's claim to fame is her excellent milk. Judging from the picture with 3 cria under her, it must be the best milk on the farm. She allows other cria to come and nurse from her. A huge plus if you have any females that have difficulty making milk. We haven't weaned her 09 cria yet to keep her milk in production in case that is of interest for a farm needing a "wet nurse."
Aside from her milk production, Nordica is a lovely white female with exceptional conformation, and a beautiful fleece. Her back and legs are straight and strong, and she carries herself very upright. Her fleece has great softness and great character, but it is the brightness that is most striking. Nordica's crimp style is tight and consistant. Her sire is a son of ACCOYO PPPERUVIAN YUPANQUI, and a grandson of PERUVIAN HEMINGWAY. Her dam is a daughter of PERUVIAN GERONIMO.
Her paternal grand-dam is DDF Bobbie Ann (RAINMAN"s dam), who is known for maintaining her fineness for many years. Fantastic genetics!
Her 2007 cria is sooo nice that Nordica was bred right back to Multi-Champion, EASTWIND'S SNOWSTORM. She gave birth to an adorable, healthy (IgG 2500), white boy.
Nordica was rebred to Valerian after she arrived in Ohio, and just had her cria... a BEAUTIFUL little GIRL. Nordica will be bred to Stratosphere's Magic, in hopes of a wonderful black cria. She also sells with another breeding to Valerian, Stratosphere, Topgun, Contender, Intimidator, Night Sky Magic or Delta Force. That's worth the cost of Nordica right there!
