Consistency in his offspring is what makes Dakota a true impact herdsire. We have selected him for our breeding program for his extreme density and deep bold crimp characteristics. Along with his very typy head to toe coverage we have not over-looked his heavy bone and muscle structure.
Dakotas coverage and yield results have been confirmed by skin biopsy. He shows a S/P follicle ratio of 10.9 well into the superior category for a breeding male at age seven - AND Dakota passes it on he breeds true for crimp and coverage, and has increased yield on every dam he has covered.
All of the crias born on our farm show his heavy coverage and deep amplitude crimp through out their blanket, neck and legs. These cria have hit the show circuit and they are bringing home ribbons and color championships in every color.

KV Valiant passed away from complications of a hip injury in 2010.
We had a really hard time when we sold this male. We had big plans for him and when we had the opportunity to buy back half interest a year later we jumped at it. It was a case of You dont know what you had until it is gone. So it is with great pleasure to announce that Valiant IS BACK!
For Valiant's 2008 introductory breeding season, we offer several special pricing opportunities. Take advantage of drive-by $1000 breeding, multiple breeding discounts, and $1500 for regular breedings.
Seven Times a Champion. Eleven Times a Blue Ribbon Winner, and he was never shown as a juvenile. So the bulk of his winning came as a yearling. Were very pleased to introduce this truly exceptional male as he begins his breeding career. Worthy of consideration by serious breeders of quality color, his list of strong attributes is as long as the wall his awards hang on.
Valiant's strengths start with a bright, dense and beautifully fine fleece with a wonderful hand and buttery softness. His fleece is consistent, with both a high-amplitude and high-frequency crimp that carries throughout the staple length.
Under Valiants head to toe fleece coverage is a solid, compact frame, exhibiting strong presence and superb conformation. His very typey head simply turns heads. If any of your conformation goals include the addition of a great head, put him on your short list!
One should always consider the strength of ancestry before getting too carried away with phenotype when selecting a herdsire. Valiants sire is the legendary JSFI Dakota, a medium fawn 9X Get of Sire winner with a long list of significant award-winning progeny to his credit. His dam Valdivia is herself a typey dark brown AOBA National 1999 first place winner (no championship classes held), and winner of the prestigious Fred Walker Memorial Trophy.
Fall breeding special: $1000 drive by breedings and $1500 regular breedings.
