| | | Sugar Rose is a lovely foundation female who has proven herself again and again as a wonderful and attentive mom with ample milk and straight, well-conformed crias. Sweet Silver Jubilee, her 1997 daughter, has won blue ribbons for her lovely silver grey fiber. Her 2001 cria, Avalon's Laurel Rose is a beautiful, dark brown multiple blue ribbon winner. She attracts attention and wins hearts at every show!!! "Rosie" is a favorite of her current owner, Sue Evon, of Sleeping Monk Farm in New Hampshire.
Although Sugar Rose is an older dam, she continues to produce outstanding, problem free crias! Her 2002 cria was a striking bay black/dark brown female (DOB: 10-11-02) that loved to lead the other crias as they stolted around the pasture. This nice female has gone on to produce a female cria of her own, Avalon's Sophia, who is now a Black Female Color Champion and multiple blue ribbon winner at 8 months old!

This outstanding son of (Accoyo) Royal Fawn (the world's highest selling alpaca at $600,000) is admired by everyone who has come to know him over the past 10 years. His macho presence, handsome head, large bone, excellent fiber coverage, and lovely fleece have been a trademark combination that is hard to beat. From his birth here at Avalon Farm, we knew he was special! In 1997, at his first show (and ours!), everyone that opened his fleece, including the judge, could only catch their breath and exclaim, "WOW!" His bright, crimpy, light fawn fleece was arranged in little locks that were unlike anything people had seen before. And, in 1999, when he won 1st as AOBA Fawn 2 Year Old Adult (no Color Championships in 1999), no one in the cro | |

This nice female is the result of breeding our Grand Dam, Sugar Rose to our signature herdsire, AFA Royal Peruvian Aristocrat. She is a lovely bay black, the darkest color we have gotten from this cross. Her quality echoes that of her full sister, Avalon's Amber Rose, multiple dark brown Color Champion (see Amber's AN listing in our Foundation Females). Haley Rose is striking, with excellent coverage, conformation, and presence. Her fiber is soft, crimpy, bright and very long.
This female will be an asset to your breeding program. She is priced very reasonably until she is bred, but is certain to increase in value as her pregnancy develops. As with all of our maidens, she sells with her FIRST breeding to the AFA herdsire of Buyer's choice.
EVERY FEMALE purchased from Avalon Farm is eligible for reduced price breedings to any solely owned AFA herdsire FOR HER BREEDING LIFE, regardless of owner.
BVD negative.
