Scott is a proven herdsire with a number of award winning offspring. With the best of both Peruvian and Bolivian genetics, he has extremely dense, high luster fiber, shearing 8.6 pounds of 25 micron fiber at 7 years of age! Scott is a great breeder, and we can usually count on him to settle girls on the first try. His son, Slugger, took the reserve champion at the 2003 North American. He was bred to color just once - a black dam - and produced a beautiful solid dark fawn male, Manitowoc, who has done very well in the show ring as well, taking a 3rd at Mapaca and a 2nd in tough competion at OABA. His Daughter Cambria took several first place ribbons at the spring 2007 shows! Scott is notable for passing on his perfect conformation and high luster.
Co-Jack is a beautiful, part-Accoyo suri boy. He has exceptional luster, tiny twisted lock structure and great coverage. His fiber, submitted last year to AFCNA, was uniformly Grade 1! His sire has bequeathed Co-Jack with heavy bone and exceptionally good conformation, and Co-Jacks dam, Colby, has given him extraordinary fineness. Jack has exemplary barn manners, and has been extensively handled as part of a 4-H program. His temperament and eagerness to please are part of a sweet personality. He would do well as a breeder for someone seeking to add fineness to his breeding program, or in a fiber/companion capacity to encourage youth participation in the alpaca industry.
Jack has just produced a fabulous two-year blanket for our clients. His fiber has remained fine and his density is incredible! He will only be on our sales list for a short while before he is moved back into the fiber production herd for another exceptional harvest.
