This beautiful import has thrown two TB, one DF and three multi crias. Her crias are all ribbon-winners, and are evidence of the quality she puts forth.
Rainbow has a flat lock style, excellent CV which gives her a nice handle even though her micron count is high (of course, you need to consider that genetically she is a BLACK alpaca with a large white spot, so her fleece seems to correlate more closely with her black skin than with the white fleece). Rainbow has a very sweet appearance, and is a protective dam. Her crias have all had greatly improved fleece characteristics and bone structure, so she has been proven "upgradeable." Nevertheless, Rainbow has excellent square conformation and has maintained a straight topline despite having birthed at least 5 crias.
I plan to breed Rainbow in the spring to PLA Porter, a beautiful blue-black, non-tipping TB male whom I expect will criate with Rainbow another fantastic TB cria.
Full Peruvian, 5/8 Accoyo, Luke is the son of Kilimanjaro and carries the Accoyo Bruxo, Baron and Santiago lines. Luke is super dense and shears over 9 pounds of 8.5 inch fiber annually! Luke's heavy bone and solid conformation have kept him in the spotlight both on the farm and in the showring. We believe Luke has what it takes to lead a new generation of North American Suri Alpacas. Luke's first cria has hit the show ring with great results! Lulu has taken 3rd place ribbons in her first two shows! At the Indiana Alpaca Invitational, she was third place, standing just behind the Champion and Reserve Champion females, both out of Crowne Royale and ahead of girls carrying bloodlines of Inca, Rocko, and Belmonte! In N.Carolina, Lulu's 3rd put her ahead of both a Boilermaker and a Camion daughter. We are thrilled to be able to hold our own with such highly regarded offpring of well known sires! Watch for Lulu and the rest of his younger crias in the fall show string.
Lucy is a beautiful suri maiden, with a LF rump and nose setting off her unusual rich-looking vanilla creme blanket, neck and legs. With exemplary four-square conformation and pearly locks, Lucy’s luster, density and lock architecture are outstanding. Lucy's part-Accoyo genetics show in her size, great bone structure and stature. She has dark toenails and a small DSG patch which should make for interesting possibilities in breeding choices. Lucy’s dam, HCL Bolivian Rainbow, is genetically TB with a large white spot that covers her dark-pigmented skin. Lucy has two TB half-siblings, as well as 3 beautifully patterned sibs. Lucy’s sire, PLA Cool Hand Luke, from whom she inherited her excellent fleece, is a champion macho with exquisite crias to his credit.
Lucy is bred to our blue-ribbon winning TB/W male, Philips Patches. Since they both have exquisite locks and excellent conformation, I fully expect the cria to be an exemplar of the breed.
