Aurora is a gorgeous girls with reddish highlights in her beautiful brown fleece. Her fiber is soft and has a nice crimp. She comes from a family of ribbon winners on both her sire and dam's sides. She had her first cria last year, a wonderful little brown girl who looks just like her mom. We were lucky enough to be on hand with a camera when she gave birth, and we got some amazing photos. This year Aurora delivered another gorgeous little girl on June 26. She was a healthy 21#, and all legs! Faith is a little lighter brown than her mom and older sister, Seneca. As she gets older, we'll see how much of Rootbeer's rose gray she has. As with Seneca, she is a very good mother, and seems to be aware most of the time exactly where Faith is and who is near her.
Aurora is currently bred to our 2009 AOBA Nationals Spin Off Highest Scoring Brown Huacaya, Bronson Steel uraqt, for a June 2010 cria. We are expecting amazing fleece from this combination!
