Our first baby, born two weeks after we bought her mother. Autumn is a strong candidate for "the world's friendliest alpaca"! Her daughter placed first at CABA and AlpacaFest.
26 crias on the ground, 16 female and most with some color (medium brown to white/beige). Ceazar is white, with fawn ears. He lives with (and eats like) pregnant/nursing sheep, but his fiber remains soft and fine with a CV of 15%. Vets, shearers, and buyers of his crias have all commented on his wonderful temperament and how it has passed on to his offspring.
Micron Count 2007: 23.4 microns, SD 4.4, CV 18.7% at 20 months of age.
I've decided to list Sunny as a non-breeder in spite of her beautiful fleece, good conformation, and wonderful temperament. However, after her adult teeth came in, an extra tooth appeared beneath them. It's probably not hereditary, but may not be worth taking a chance on. If you'd like to buy her with her ARI certificate, she's $1000 or $2000 bred to one of our herdsires.
Lovely soft white fleece, with a little fawn in her topknot and a brown spot on her neck.
Lots of color in her pedigree - brown and black.
Daughter of a friendly mother, she shows the same interest in people and is very touchable - it's easy to walk up, halter her and handle her, or just to stand and pet her (which I do a lot; she feels so good).
As a cria, Sunny scratched her cornea; she has a small loss of vision, but it has healed with no further damage. Sunny is available as part of our "Suri and Huacaya Girls" package: $500 for the pair.
