| | | This little beauty is the first cria born on our farm. Briar is a splendid little girl who has attitude to back up the beauty. We registered her as a bay black, but upon first shearing in May 07, she is just BLACK! What a shine-she just shimmers! Her fiber is the longest on the farm, with a low micron, just not much crimp. We have bred to a male with great crimp to improve that factor but absolutely nothing could improve how her fiber feels--it is as soft as honey! She does a good job taking care of herself and is completely undaunted by the older girls and shy, she is not! Briar is a Bueno granddaughter. This girl has it all--conformation, fiber, attitude, and a beautiful head to boot!
Good news--Briar took on the first try---she's spitting at the boys! Looks like a cria for Briar Rose in late Sept. 08!! AND....we are waiting! Last cria due for this year and we are past our due date of 9/24. We had a "Name the new Cria" contest for our Open House, and what a selection | |

| | | THA Preston is a medium fawn male with outstanding conformation and awesome fiber. He was off our farm for much of the summer beginning his breeding career and now has multiple confirmed pregnancies! We absolutely love this guy, he is tall and square and has a great presence about him. We have always believed that despite not having any big names in his pedigree he stacks up really well against anything out there. AT the 2007 AOBA Fiber competition he proved us right by grabbing a red ribbon out of a class of 9!! Preston is a very well mannered boy, and is easy to handle and an easy breeder. He has staple length, crimp, conformation, basically he has it all and at a great price. Preston is a Peruvian/Chilean mix and has picked up many of the best traits of each, we believe that he is a tremendous value for the asking price, especially since we offer a mobile breeding service.
