When we went into the Alpaca business a few years ago we always had dreamed of an animal that would eat fron our young children's hands. Rubey Tuesday has been the answer to that calling!! "Bibsy", as we call her, is a wonderful adition to Cherry Run. She is very well tempered animal that fits right into our grey breeding program. Not only does she have a wonderful temperament, but her confirmation is correct, and her fleece has a great handle with good character. Bibsy also brings to the table a very unique pedigree that stretches from Canada to Chile on her sire's side and Canada all the way to Germany on her dam's side.
In October Bibsy delivered her first cria....a beautiful light silver grey male from the one and only ORLANDO CLOUD. Rubey is open and ready to be bred again this fall.

Orlando Cloud is the future of grey alpacas! We are proud to announce that Cherry Run and Alpine Alpacas have purchased most of Emerald Farms exceptional herd, including the highly regarded Cloud line, including Orlando Cloud. Orlando is among the top grey producers when bred to grey or black his cria's colors have been 100% grey or true black with the exception of one which was bay black. He has also shown that he can throw grey out of fawn as we have seen three cria like this from his color pairing. The judges have raved about Orlando's consistant, dense architecture, his exquisite looks from tail to his topknot. His offspring are also following in Orlando's footsteps with numerous Championships and Reserve Championships. After two years of breeding on the west coast, he is now ready to add to east coast genetics.
